Anyway here's mine. I like to keep it simple and not distracting.
No icons? No start bar? WTF?
Where does it say "Post the background image on your desktop"?

Ever stop to think that his taskbar is hidden, and he has no use for icons?

Except on almost every OS the hidden taskbar still at least has a sliver showing.

He could be running Litestep or one of the many similar other shells and just have nothing but a right click popup menu.
None.
You have that google bar, a media player open, and several huge icons (are you an old person? can you see them ok?). Far from minimalistic, sorry. Take mine as a good example of minimalism.
I meant minimalist in quantity of icons. And with so few, why not make them big? Those are the ones I use on a daily basis. You have a couple dozen and they are all tiny. That just makes it harder to find things unless your familiar with it. The Windows sidebar is information/tools that are useful to me. And I like to listen to music.
But I am quite familiar with it, its my Personal Computer. So I can quickly click on whatever program I want open.
None.
Fuck this Windows orgy.
Gentoo bitches.

Because you're a noob.
Well, I guess if devilesk calls me a noob, it must be true.

...reviving a dead topic rather than starting a new one. How thoughtful of me.
Most of you, undoubtedly, have new wallpapers by now. Post 'em up.
Also, if you would, post the link so those interested could buy/download it?
Unless you have one like Devilesk's.
